Hi,

I developed anxiety last year when my daughter was around 5 months old after having an allergic reaction. Obviously the pandemic didn’t help either I would panic in to thinking what if I got really ill. Last week I actually got covid I was fine for a couple of days then the usual headache, fatigue, unable to sleep then Monday I lost my sense of smell. However I’m not sure whether I’m being paranoid or if I should be concerned. I have bruising about my nostrils and then little groove/ indentations below. I was on the phone to the doctors earlier for X-ray result and mentioned this separate query I had. They just said it didn’t sound urgent and to call back next week if I was still concerned. What do you guys think?

I think you need to go back to your GP and discuss your anxiety as you're currently spiralling again.

Well obviously I don’t know what your nose normally looks like, but there’s nothing in your picture that I think looks concerning. It looks like a completely normal nose!
As someone who suffers from health anxiety, I have wasted far too many hours of my life examining myself for lumps, bumps, spots and bruises and agonising over what they might mean. It’s utterly soul destroying. Try to seek help for your anxiety if you think it’s rearing it’s ugly head again. But your nose looks fine!!

Nothing wrong with your nose.
