Pet camera

Any recommendations please? I work from home mostly but still think this would be a fun gadget. the Furbo looks good but has a monthly subscription which I don’t want.

There are a few ways of doing things, the simplest being a £25 Neos camera which you can log into and see the animal, plus speak if you want to.
Some of the new Amazon Echo Shows have a camera you can drop into as well so you'd get multi use from that.

Stuff like the nebo etc are good, but expensive for a gimmick which throws the odd treat.

You can get cheap pet cam on Amazon for about £25.00. We have one that’s been going about 2 years - you can use an app to watch, control the camera and speak if you want. Ours is a Chinese make one that doesn’t seem to be on there -anymore but definitely money well spent. Just check the reviews first.

We've used the iPad with the free app 'presence'. Works really well.

The neos one can be set to alert for sound and/or movement as well so you could set it to alert you if the dog barks for example. I don't use that setting as he listens to Planet Rock whilst I'm out 😂

We use a ring camera for our dogs works well
