This post covers a few thoughts of mine - i welcome all honest responses.
I had the NT scan and the fluid behind babies neck was measured at 4.3mm and I was dated at 13+2. I had my bloods done and was given 1in61 chance of downs and 1in10,000 for edwards and patuas.
My midwife said my hormone levels were normal, and the sonographer said that structually baby looks fine.. and after a 2nd measurement, the fluid measured at 4.0mm - does the fluid go down? I'm so confused by the results.
I'm a stresser, and half of me wishes i never opted for the screening. I've advised people to limit their researching, and heres me ..researching away.
Does anyone know of any other markers that are present during 1st trimester ultrasounds. I actually feel like a pain bothering my midwife with questions - i know it's their job, but i feel like they'll look at me like 'oh just another FTM stressing'
(i am currently awaiting my NIPT results & i am 14+1)
