Water in ear canal

I have sinus problems, and did a nasal douche last night with saline water. I have somehow from my nasal passages got water in my ear canal. It feels a but like when you get water in your ear when you swim, except it feels more internal.

My worries are-
It will give me an infection and the water will go manky??
It is uncomfortable and I dont know how to get rid of it

Can anyone help?

My first thought would be to angle your head the opposite way to how it was when it happened, to try to drain it? Hang your head upside down?
But I think I'd call 111 for advice. I think there's an increased chance of ear infections if you've got fluid trapped in there somehow, but I'm no expert.
