We have a switch from last year and they love 1 2 switch, did have just dance but havent played that in ages. Girls early teens and tween.

They enjoy family time type games rather than "gaming" as such.

I was thinking of getting a couple of games to play over xmas.

Whats the difference between the different mario party games? It was mentioned as a fun collection of games but there's several!

Mario kart? We have 1 controller. Do we need another one to play? Does it have to be the official one or can we get copies and does 1 do 2 people like some games?

Any other ideas!?

Thankyou!

Ok so it looks like switch mario party or switch party superstars.

And I can't quite work out if one controller can let 2 people play mario cart... and if I need wheels?
Any thoughts?

Mario Kart is 1 joy con per player, so two people can play.
You can buy cheap joycons from wish.
I would try 55 worldwide games as well, that one is fun or Super Smash Bros.

Elisheva · 24/11/2021 22:08

When you say one controller do you mean the joycons?

JingleCatJingle · 24/11/2021 22:09

Yeah I think she means they have two joycons which make one controller.

Puffalicious · 24/11/2021 22:11

Mario Kart is fantastic. You don't need wheels.

WholeClassKeptIn · 24/11/2021 22:11

Um i think so? It came with one controller but for some games you can take the "arms" off and it becomes 2 controllers. So 2 people can play.

The wheels look like they have just one "arm" in.

We currently only have the one bjg ckntroller but splut it for some games. So need to know if I need another one. Or wheels...

If you have a seperate controller and the 'arms' (joycons) then up to 3 people can play. You don't need a wheel

Emmelina · 24/11/2021 22:15

Hi! With Mario Kart, each player can use a single joy con (one side of the switch) slid onto the wrist straps. You’ll use it sideways. It’s great fun, and very silly and competitive!

Wow!!!! Well done! How?!
On a raffle!!! Well chuffed
Elisheva · 24/11/2021 22:55

You don’t need a wheel. If you buy another set of joy cons then up to four people can play some games.
Mario party is good fun, and super smash bros is a fun fighting game which can have up to four people. Mine also enjoy Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games
