Just wondering which celeb makes you think wow? and is it because of their personality/talent/ good looks?

OP posts:

Angelina Jolie. Went to see Maleficent at the cinema and spent the entire time wowed by her beauty. She has a jawline of the gods.

I have since read that she is not a nice person but aesthetically she's perfection (imo ofc).

Obsidiansphere · 24/11/2021 09:09

Keanu Reeves Grin

MarshaBradyo · 24/11/2021 09:10

Not really wow for anyone but Keanu Reeves is great

rainrainraincamedowndowndown · 24/11/2021 09:11

Helen Mirren.

Texasfucked · 24/11/2021 09:13

Andie macdowell (sp?)

Really surprised to see a Hollywood actress with a proper old face and grey hair.

Helps that she's beautiful I suppose.

Beefcurtains79 · 24/11/2021 09:14

Angelina does more for charity and women’s rights than anyone else in Hollywood.

LethargeMarg · 24/11/2021 09:16

Taylor swift - so talented and her productivity is amazing. Is it four albums she's recorded in the last 18 months ?!

ReginaaPhalange · 24/11/2021 09:17

@ISpyCobraKai I won't even try and deny that I look at his Instagram page if I'm feeling a bit meh! His smile just makes everything seem brighter! He seems happy all the time!!

DH and I were watching the F1 at the weekend and when the Qatar national anthem came on, the camera panned on the racers and they were all standing there, very still but Daniel was head bopping along lol!!

She looks great

I couldn’t watch The Maid as didn’t like lead in it (her dd) but she was brilliant in the one episode I watched

@Morgan12

Jennifer Lawrence. Wow how does someone with such an expressionless face become a famous actress.

Mariah Carey.
Wow you're a dick.

Grin yep !

I totally agree. She is so beautiful, it's kind of ridiculous! Otherworldly you might say. I could stare at her face for quite a long time before getting bored. No one else really compares.
justswaying · 24/11/2021 09:28

Agree with Angelina Jolie.

Though DH says he doesn't understand the attraction, but he's always liked girl next door types which is great news for me Grin

Immaculatemisconception · 24/11/2021 09:29

Rylan - for all the wrong reasons.

IntermittentParps · 24/11/2021 09:31

For sheer beauty, Cate Blanchett (I could just look and look at her) and Charlotte Rampling: extraordinary.
Paul Bettany is the most beautiful man I've ever seen.
Acting/charisma: Fiona Shaw. Magnificent. Harriet Walter: superb. Kristen Stewart talking recently about both her job (in the context of Spencer) and women's/trans rights. Massive respect for her; she's so articulate, thoughtful, informed, intelligent.

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 24/11/2021 09:37

@SlamLikeAGuitar Not sure I've ever been so jealous of someone on here Grin. He really does appear to be the perfect man.

ReginaaPhalange · 24/11/2021 10:29

Jessica alves (sp). Every time I see an article about her in the press I think wow but it's for the wrong reasons but in the nicest way possible IYSWIM? It's like wow I can't believe how much she has changed with surgery and wow at the cost of it all

LittleMissUnreasonable · 24/11/2021 10:30

I have a huge girl crush on Miley Cyrus at the moment. No idea where it came from but her recent music has been so powerful, and there's just something really intriguing and attractive about her.

Personality wise, definitely Keanu Reeves, what a wonderful, likeable person.

A 'wow' I got was the first time I heard Adele speaking and not singing. Her voice just doesn't match up with how she sings, I was quite taken aback Grin

SlamLikeAGuitar · 24/11/2021 10:34

@PissedOffNeighbour22 he really is isn’t he?!
He was so sweet to DS too 😍 he said “Oopsie Daisy! Where’s you Mama?” as I was stood practically wiping the drool from my chin Blush

grapewine · 24/11/2021 10:35

Harriet Walker is spectacular on stage.

Harriet Walter! 😳
SirChenjins · 24/11/2021 10:37

JK Rowling - amazing woman

NightmareSlashDelightful · 24/11/2021 10:38

Viola Davis. She can do so much with the tiniest look, shift of facial expression or tone of voice. I think she's absolutely magnificent.

I agree on the Adele thing, and with other singers too.

Ones that have really strong spoken accents, that disappear when they sing. It's really odd! Weirdly though I can hear American accents in singing, but can't hear different British accents. (I am British).

That wows me (simple things, eh!)

thereisonlyoneofme · 24/11/2021 10:51

Amanda Holden and Carol Vorderman, how the hell are they famous

Immaculatemisconception · 24/11/2021 10:53

Robbie Williams

Nasal grating voice, dud personality and so not my type in looks.
