Birthday party invitations

If you were having a whole class party for a 5th birthday on the 23rd January when would you send out invitations? Before Christmas and risk the invite being missed among all the Christmas cards or first day of the new term in January? I was thinking in January but is 3 weeks notice enough (we’ve never done a big kids party before)? Thanks for answering my very trivial question! :)

Is there a class whatsapp? Im sure someone will be along to say it's overkill but I'd send a whatsapp "save the date" now and say invites to come. Then you can send them in on first day of term.

We've already had a couple for Jan in our class.

Send them in January - 3 weeks notice is plenty.

January. People will forget over Christmas. Three weeks is almost too much.

3 weeks in jan is fine: I also wouldn’t send out invites but a class WhatsApp message if all invited
