Hello

Can anyone suggest online shops or a certain type of welly that is good quality and for wide feet and do half sizes.
I know that a huge ask, iv exhausted google so wondering if there are any people of wisdom on here please.

Would also be great if they were warm inside , lined or atleast fur around the top

Also do you tend to go up a size or is that type of welly true to size ?

Thank you so much

I don't think I've ever seen half sizes for wellies.
Spotty otter fit all of your other criteria though.
Expensive but worth it and fantastic quality.

If your child is a half size I'd just go to the next size up. They don't have to fit the same way shoes do.

You don't need half sizes. For warmth you really need good socks. I'd recommend walking boots as being warmer if them being completely waterproof isn't required.

Next seem to have a good range of width fittings and half sizes but not sure about wellies

idontlikealdi · 23/11/2021 18:09

Size up, big socks.

You want neoprene lined ones for warmth.
Le Chemeau do them and I think they do half sizes too.

ArtfulScreamer · 23/11/2021 20:18

I got DD some fleece lined wellies from startrite I think they do a wider fit and half sizes

Bobsyer · 23/11/2021 20:35

Costco had some wellies with built in socks. Probably not in half sizes, I don't think you'll get them.

Warm wellies- Google them. They're fab and kept my feet warm trudging through snow repeatedly last year

If you are planning on wearing them with thick socks you might want to size up though as they're true to size

Best warm wellies. I wear the children's & have a very broad foot. www.bogsfootwear.co.uk/shop/styles/kidsShoes/viewAll&subCategoryUrl=kids-waterproof-boots-shoes/page-1.html

@supercalifragilistic123

With SpottyOtter it says that they are generous in size and advice to size down, did you go a size down ?
Thank you

Buy fleecy insoles, has the double bonus of making them smaller and warmer.

JunoMcDuff · 23/11/2021 22:37

Bogs.

They don't do half sizes, but they are soooo warm and flexible and wonderful!

NiellyNoFive · 23/11/2021 22:47

We always wear a pair of thick walking or wellie socks over our normal socks

DinosApple · 23/11/2021 22:50

Take a look at kids snow boots if you want warmth.
Alternatively the best pair of kids wellies I ever got were made from that foamy plastic that fake crocs are made from. They were a great, but random purchase from a cheap seaside shop about 4 years ago. Real croc wellies may be similar.

PaperMonster · 23/11/2021 22:53

Decathlon Solognac are great. They have a really good lining and good grip. Both myself and my daughter have them - she wears them when we go walking as she finds walking boots uncomfortable and they are also very good for snowy weather.

MiloAndEddie · 23/11/2021 23:39

Another vote for bogs boots. Pricey but last, mine have been through two DC no problem and would still be good for another

Thank you all
