Cardiff- where to go for best shopping and good veggi options?

Dd and I have 3 hours.

Veggie - In Cafe Chinese on Crwys Rd, or The Nook (bit more posh) are both amazing. Shopping - everything is in and around Queen Street! Don't miss the arcades, there are some great little independent shops of all kinds.

It’s a bit out of town but Anna Loka is INCREDIBLE. It’s all vegan but the food is out of this world. Look it up on insta.
Wagamama’s is lovely and so is Las Iguanana. Bills is great as is The Corner House.

Luna's Vegan Corner on Wellwright Road is absolutely lovely but a little bit out of town. There are loads of veggie places in town though - Got No Beef is central and is supposed to be good, and Atma is lovely.

It would have to be Crumbs Kitchen for me in Morgan Arcade. I've been going there since the 70's. (Makes me feel old!)

In short, forget the shopping and spend those three hours on a food crawl

@Trampoline11 - is Crumbs back to being fully veggie now? It was our default for donkeys' years but then they started doing fish and we found the smell of it really offputting, so we haven't been for a couple of years.

I don't remember the fish. The way I posted it sounded as if I'd been every week since 1970!

Veggie, vegan and that fantastic soup and those bowls of salad. Can see a little trip into town coming on ...

God I miss those bowls of salad! It used to be a weekly treat for me to have a salad in Crumbs. Now when we go back to Cardiff DH is always desperate to go to the New York Deli (who have veggie and vegan options)
