Best pencil sharpener

I've got Staedtler HB, kept in a lovely silicon pencil case away from children who will drop them on the floor but my trusty desktop windy handle sharpener isn't performing as well as it used to. Either eats half the pencil or grinds up the lead!
Which sharpener do I need to restore a new pencil quality writing tip?

We like the Stabilo Easy pot sharpeners in this house. Largely because they come in right and left handed versions (leftie son).

They probably can’t outperform a fancy desktop windy handle though.
