Does anyone know how I can track a parcel that I dropped off at a localHermes Parcel drop off point

Just that really. I dropped off an Amazon parcel at a Hermes drop off point which was a local shop and they gave me a receipt which had a 9 digit number starting with 'P'. I dropped it off yesterday around 1pm-ish and haven't heard anything at all. I have dropped something off there sometime back and seem to remember things being processed quite quickly but I can't remember how long exactly. Does anyone know if I could track it? I've been on the hermes website and clicked on "Track my parcel" but its not bringing anything up when type in my receipt number. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It always works for me when I type in the 'P' code on the blue barcode receipt.
Double check that any Os or Zeros are being entered correctly as numbers or letters.
If it still won't work, they might not have scanned it properly when you dropped it off as they have to scan the parcel to link it to the barcode on the receipt.

Did you pay at home for it and print it off yourself? You can find info on your account. If you just dropped off something to a retailer with own label have to wait get email from them with refund or whatever.

Yep the 'P' number always works for me too - did you see them scan it so your parcel is linked to the tracking number they gave you?

Thank you so much for replying. It finally worked. I was trying for awhile and it didn't work and it did finally. Not sure what happened there. It says it with them, so hopefully Amazon will get it soon. The item costed £70 and my heart sunk at the prospect of it being lost without any record.

It's with them as in with Hermes
