What’s good for stress-induced stomach cramps?

It’s been a long hard day at work, and now I’m doubled over in pain with the most excruciating stomach cramps. It’s not the first time. Any suggestions to help?

A warm drink and/or a warm bath can help? Or a drink of milk perhaps? Avoid anything acidic. Hope you are feeling better soon.

Peppermint tea, all day long. It's a lifesaver.

Peppermint tea is very good for that, it helps relieve the spasms.

Also a meditation app, try Headspace.

Eat an apple.
Going forward drink more water during the day if possible.
Liquorice dgl from Holland and Barrett works for me.
Alka seltzer is good too.

Thank you for your help. Just had a hot bath and feeling a bit better. Sod the DC’s bath and bedtime story…. I’m off to bed! And peppermint tea is going on the shopping list.

Breathing. A few deep long breathes in and out. And yoga, anything where you twist should help.

put your favourite song on and dance.
