It was utterly bizarre.
Almost as if it was a spoof.

PurpleDaisies · 22/11/2021 17:30

But it wasn’t a spoof.
It was our esteemed prime minister.

Lord help us.

HaroldSteptoesHorse · 22/11/2021 17:35

It was a weird one. Even to get his papers out of sync and not know wtf he was going to say is all strange. Maybe he’s had enough of being Boris and gone back to the bubbling idiot who used to be Have I hit news for you

Cattitudes · 22/11/2021 17:36

I guess being on top of a hill will be very useful in a few years with global warming- clutching at straws here.

I think he is fed up of being PM ( too much like hard work) and wants to get on the gravy train of directorships, after dinner speeches et al. Could be he is hoping the Tory grandees will give him the push.

DuncinToffee · 22/11/2021 17:43

It's almost as if he needs a distraction from the Social Care bill that is being voted on tonight

Cattitudes · 22/11/2021 17:49

Not sure he is selling himself as an after dinner speaker to a wide audience at the moment.

@PurpleDaisies

It was utterly bizarre. Almost as if it was a spoof.
Here’s the spoof. Although when you’re parodying someone so ridiculous, it does just sound like you’re quoting them directly.

I had an awful day at work, made a stupid mistake on something really important and felt like a total idot.

This has actually really cheered me up and made me feel a lot more competent.

ArrrMeHearties · 22/11/2021 18:49

I've literally just read about this and I'm sitting flabbergasted that peppa has so much clout with the dear old pm Grin

SuperSange · 22/11/2021 18:50

2020isnotbehaving · 22/11/2021 18:52

Gilead · 22/11/2021 18:55

He managed to swear too, but nobody appears to be reporting on that!

Anythingbutsnow · 22/11/2021 18:56

Can anyone explain the hairdryer comparison. I get the Picasso part but I can't see how Peppa pigs dad looks like a hairdryer ???

TheCreamCaker · 22/11/2021 19:03

Boris Johnson, or to give him his actual name - Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson - is a fucking moron. I've always voted Conservative (voted for this mop-haired twat as I didn't want old man SteptoeCorbyn to win. Never again will I vote Tory.

Clawdy · 22/11/2021 19:15

He's definitely losing it.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 22/11/2021 19:15

I always thought Peppa Pig looked like a hairdryer.

Theplantisgrowing · 22/11/2021 19:18

SickAndTiredAgain · 22/11/2021 19:20

If we all lived on top of hills we wouldn't need to worry about flooding. And Miss Rabbit could simultaneously drive all the trucks, farm the fields and fill all the gaps in the NHS.
