Energy suppliers.

I have a really boring question about energy suppliers. I'm looking to change providers and how I pay for electric.
I currently have a pre-payment meter which I hate due to having night storage heaters, mainly because in winter it costs an absolute fortune.
I want to go on a monthly DD plan but trying to get a quote online is impossible due to the stupid meter. I'm going to have to make some phone calls but where do I start as there is so many, so my question is who would you recommend obviously based on price but also customer service.

Get your current supplier to change you to a credit meter then change supplier. That’s that we did after we moved here 3 years ago. Obviously, if you rent, make sure to check your landlord is ok with you swapping to a credit meter.

Sorry also forgot to mention one of the reasons I'm looking to change is because I'm currently with bulb and it's not looking good for them atm.

Martin Lewis is advising not to move from bulb at the moment despite them going into special administration. They are now being propped up by tax payers money and run by Ofgem. I’m also with bulb and we’ll sit tight and wait to see what happens
