Camera or iPhone

Going on a big sightseeing/ touring holiday at Xmas.

In the past I’ve used a DSLR camera but it’s big and a pain to carry plus I then transfer my photos to my iPad / iCloud account anyway.

Are the days of cameras over now and do smartphones do just as good job these days?

Personally, I still love my big camera and take it on trips like that. If I’m worried about space then I just take the camera and one lens which fit fine in my handbag. For day to day snaps I just use my iPhone, but when I’m planning to take photos then I’ll pack my camera.

I should probably learn to use my camera better as my photos are pretty rubbish whatever I use.
