It's with an American company, and I'm interviewed by the hiring manager's boss. They're all American, so I'm aware interviewing style / formulas might be slightly different.

I was in the same position op. I’m now working for them! They aren’t that different, my colleagues utterly lovely, they are more vocal than I am but they seem to think brits in general are more reserved, perhaps that’s true. They are very driven, and throw their all into work but have a strong family oriented streak.

The interview style was the same as interviewers’ I’ve met in the uk and Europe. Same questions etc.

Just be yourself and you’ll be fine.

Thanks @Penny I find it hard to understand what exactly to expect at this stage! (I wish I had taken notes of the next steps!)

How did it go?

Terribleluck · 23/11/2021 07:18

Aww thanks @Penny for following up! Id say I did well and would have done great if I hadn't asked a couple of silly questions, although I do think one was acceptable and the other one maybe... So I asked How much project management do will there be in this role? (Which I think is an ok question to ask) and after he gave me a whole spiel of the KPIs and strategy of the role I asked to summarize the role in a few words, the VP thought that was a redundant question (which is fair enough!).
