Ear fluttering driving me mad

Please tell me theres another reason for it other than a bug stuck in my ear canal?? This is exactly what it feels like, been all day. So so annoying. What could it be and how do i stop it?

I get this all the time.
Ear canal is infected, inflamed and sticky so opens and closes
Sudafed OTC can work
If not, you'll need antibiotics or just to wait
