In short, it’s the heart electrical system taking longer to recharge between beats.

I have regular ECGs done to keep an eye out for this due to the medications I’m on.

Ventricular rate is the rate at which the large chambers of your heart contract ie the pulse rate that you can feel. The QTc is the corrected (for heart rate) interval between the Q and T waves which are parts of the electrical signals that control contraction of your heart. They are measured on an ECG but you can’t feel them yourself in anyway. If the QTc becomes abnormally prolonged it can increase the risk of the heart going into an abnormal rhythm. Some medications can cause this
