How much noise is reasonable? We're in semi detached houses and they've been gutting and doing it up in a fairly piecemeal fashion since the middle of September. They're not living there but various people are in and out doing jobs, and their son is doing some of the work. Apart from one time when I went round at about 11pm because they were still hammering I'd say it's largely within reasonable hours which makes me think there's nothing I can say or do, but it's really getting to me. My daughter has asd and the noise is making her so anxious and depressed. I really struggle with random noises and just find I can't concentrate and feel so on edge.
For various reasons going out is not really an option. And I'm told murder is frowned upon...
