Fife- Townhill and Saline

Hello
Looking to buy/move to either Townhill or Saline in Fife , are these nice villages? Good primary schools?

Saline - DP's lived there for years and loved it. Nice community, but close to Dunfermline for shops etc.
DFriend's son went to the primary but finished four years ago so don't know if it's changed - he's an outgoing, confident, friendly boy, loved his school and loved that his school friends all lived really close. DF was happy with the school - low key, friendly, good school community. I've sent DF a msg to see if she can respond to thread.
