Looking for recommendations of a decent remote control off-road car for a 7yo please!

Tamiya Grasshopper, Hornet or something similar. A bit more expensive but will last a lot longer, are faster and will go more places than a normal toy store type rc car

Take a look at the FTX Outlaw, well made and pretty tough. They come in brushed or brushless motor form, the brushless will be faster and more future-proof. Make sure you have more than one battery pack and if you get lipo batteries you’ll need a decent balance charger and fireproof bag for charging them in.
