I’ve got no idea and DH always acts like it’s my fault.

I like gardening but he bought me all the gardening stuff I needed for my birthday.

DP is getting me a couple of big planters, square versions of these which my clematis obelisks are going in.
I can always have more gardening stuff 😁

Seeds, a heated plug in germinator thing, to grow dahlias and cosmos and whatnot from January.

My garden is still full of the antirrinhums I germinated from seed last winter.:)

Is there anything on John Lewis? If you spend £75 you also get a free Google smart speaker. I've just chosen a few nice things on there (luxury toiletries and beauty items) and DH is extra happy as he gets some free Google tech in the process :-)

I'm having a telescopic pruner so I can reach even further than with the telescopic loppers he got me a few years ago.
That will be fun for him to wrapGrin

I’ve been through the John Lewis ‘gifts for her’ bit and there is nothing that takes my fancy.

I’m so difficult to buy for.

New set of quality wine glasses?

A toastie maker/grill thing?

The standard Jewellery and perfume present?

Proper coffee machine?

PriamFarrl · 21/11/2021 15:13

He’s the coffee person.
I don’t wear much jewellery and almost never wear perfume.
A toastie maker is a thought.

If you can't think of anything you need or want then why are you trying to think of something for the sake of it.

You could ask for money to be donated to a charity instead rather than scrabbling around for gift ideas when you've already got everything you need!

midsomermurderess · 21/11/2021 15:29

I agree with @makelovenotpetrol. We don't need constantly to be consuming. If there is nothing you need, just leave it. Or make a donation to charity.

Heepers · 21/11/2021 17:10

I've asked for a donation to charity this year. I don't really need anything new and find it sort of grotesque how much I have when others have nothing. Just an idea if you really don't need anything!

What about a ninja foodie? Or a tefal grill? Honestly they've changed my kitchen life!

Twospaniels · 21/11/2021 20:35

What about one of these indoor herb growing thingys? My husband has one and loves it. Likes to use the fresh herbs when cooking.

Dr Martens

I’ve got myself a Habitat sun lounger for £14. They are always out of stock or twice the price come summer when I think about getting one.
