He's 14yo and has suicidal ideation. I was wondering if there any any recent books/websites/resources that might be useful for him to understand what this may mean and understand himself better. I am doing the same, as is my DB, but I want to find something that's specific and useful to a 14yo who is extremely intelligent but is struggling with his mental health. Thank you.

The national autistic society has a helpline for parent/carers. Call them and they might be able to signpost you to more specific resources.

I find www.asiam.ie a good resource (As I Am) it's an Irish Charity. Not sure if they have anything specific for his age but in general a good resource.

I'll check those out, thank you. Anything specifically geared towards teen boys?
