Can anyone recommend waterproof walking boots

Can anyone recommend some waterproof walking boots, that don't leak! I can't really justify spending more than £80, and in the ideal world it'd be more like £50. My last two pairs have leaked around the toes.

Look for Gore-tex boots. I have a Berghaus pair picked up for £80 on eBay (brand new!) and they are snug and stay perfectly dry - it’s been a revelation!

Alas if you want decent boots they are not usually cheap but they defo pay in the long run as you don’t need to replace. My goretex waterproof coat is 15 years old and still going strong for £60 new which was a lot to me at the time.

My previous pair of Hi Tec walking boots lasted about 15 years. They have finally given up, so I'm replacing them with a similar pair:

They haven't arrived yet, so can't vouch for how good they are.
