Mobile phone ban for drivers - Mandela effect???

I could have sworn this was already the case and that you can't use a hand held mobile phone when you're driving? If it's not been law for ages then why the hell not?

I'm really confused by this.

I think it’s closing a loop hole where it was illegal to text/call but if you were using your phone for another reason like putting on music or taking a photo that wasn’t technically law.

Well it says in the article its already againt the law to call or text, but now they're adding to it that you can't take photos or play games, which I bet a lot of idiots do
