How to order something from catalogue sites like Simply Be

Sorry if this is a ridiculous question. I'm looking for a particular item, and Simply Be is the only site that has any left. I've never bought anything from these catalogue sites before and they seem to be keen on getting everyone to set up a credit account, which I don't want. Is it really possible to just buy something with a card like most websites? I think I tried to buy something from there once before and ended up giving up as I couldn't for the life of me work out how to buy it.

I just added something to my basket and went to check out. Clicked "payment and delivery" and it asked for my card details. Confused

I do have an account so didn't need to register. But paying by card was definitely an option

Yeah you can pay as you go. You don't have to have to put it on credit.

I think you will need to open an account but you don't have to use the credit facility, you can just pay in full by card.

I'm a bit nervous as they seem to have quite a lot of bad reviews. But I really need this item and nowhere else has it.

Exactly the same as buying from any other website. You have to make an account with the website, but don’t have to sign up to their credit scheme.

Unfortunately they don’t offer PayPal which is the safest way to pay online but they do accept debit and credit cards.

Some of the stuff they sell is cheep / bad quality. Some stuff is ok, some really good. You can send anything back your not happy with and you will get a refund. Give it a go.

It's absolutely fine, I buy a fair amount from there. Like a PP said, quality varies but it's certainly safe to buy from them.

meltingmyhead · 19/11/2021 06:31

I've ordered from them a few times with no issues.

It's a branded item from another brand, not Simply Be, so I already know what quality it will be. I'm just worried about all the bad reviews.
