Sometimes things do work out

I ordered a dress from a seller on eBay. One of those outlets where they sell well known makes
I ordered a size 14 and messaged the seller to say I was not sure about the size and if it was too small or large could I send it back.
She replied saying yes or I could have my money back.
The dress arrived. It was like a tent on me.
I meant to send it back and then I got bronchitis, and then lost the address. I messaged her and she sent it.
When some weeks later I eventually returned the dress she told me eBay had cancelled the return. She asked for the tracking number. There wasn't one.
I sent the dress by 2nd class with royal mail. I had proof of postage but did not pay for it to be signed for.
I was resigned to be disappointed.
Two days ago she sent me the smaller size.

Not everyone is a crook are they?

@Anordinarymum - no they are not . What a great story. Sometimes you would read stuff and think everyone's out to get you - but most decent people aren't - I may be naive but I think most people are nice. (not all - & I do not count Hermes delivery in those people Grin ) but lots of people are nice and decent .

Flowers to you and the seller
