Arg! Help! Central heating/radiator!

Hoping I haven’t buggered the system. Removed radiator & have now replaced & reconnected it.
I’ve opened the valve and bleed valve & it’s not refilling.
Checked boiler and it is giving a low system water pressure error code.

Can someone reassure me on my plan

  • I repressure the boiler cold (once I’ve squeezed into the cupboard & found the tap)
Hope this is enough to refill the radiator Recheck boiler pressure & correct as necessary Turn heating/hot water back on

Or am I going to blow us all to kingdom come?

yes but don't overfill and go around and bleed all the radiators

recheck boiler pressure

I have done this (I have not bled all the radiators, just that one I will do the others eventually)
I’m too scared of the boiler to go more than just above one bar (am assuming that’s what you mean by overfill?)

We now have hot water! And trying the heating & going to check the radiator for heat & leaks fingers crossed.
Sometimes you just need a bit of moral support Grin

yes that is what I mean about over filling

I would go around and bleed the rads now, do 2 or 3 then check the boiler
