What the FUCK have they done to scampi fries?

As if it isn't bad enough that they discontinued cheese moments, the scampi fri has apparently been replaced by this monstrosity that tastes like it's been deep fried for an hour then blasted with a gallon of vinegar.
I haven't had scampi fries in decades and now this is what is put before me?

Can I suggest Openshaw’s Scampi Bites? I think they’re on par with Scampi Fries, and in a much bigger bag… they’re very nice.

I can usually find them in my Asda on random hangers mid-shelf, the same type of place you find pork scratching and jerky (and me apparently) hanging about.

Right so I just bought a packet of scampi fries .....they were delicious and I devoured them!!

Were they always scampi and lemon flavour though or is that new?

Hmmm Cabanas just reminiscing about those recently, lovely soft condenced milk textured coconut bar with cherries and fruit covered in choclate, I'll sign the petition (lots of times) to bring them back

And Spangles... I loved them too. Its shit being a grown up and stuff changing and getting smaller (apart from my waistline apparently 🙄)

I’ve just found this after searching online after opening a bag and thinking exactly the same - they’ve made each crisp smaller and completely agree. I thought something was wrong so opened another pack. Same.
They are disgusting now and leave a horrible vinegar and very salty aftertaste. And don’t even resemble scampi anymore.
I had some a couple of months ago and they were fine.

Yup. Yet another gorgeous snack ruined. Bastards.
