What was the best party bag your child ever received?

My 4 year old dd has her 5th birthday coming up and has specifically asked for party bags she can give out to her friends.

I wasn’t planning to do them as they are usually just full of cheap plastic rubbish, so I’m wondering if anyone is willing to share the best ideas your child has ever given or received.

Just today my little boy got a paint your own robot money box (Hobbycraft) and we thought that was great.

A voucher for an ice cream from the local sweet shop, the vouchers were drawings of ice creams and hung up like bunting at the party. They got the same gift from their teacher at the end of primary 1.

Sweetie cones made as activity during the party - gave everyone a piece of A4 white paper with pens, stickers, pencils to decorate. Staple them into a cone and then all sat in a circle picking sweets from a tray in the middle a couple at a time so they got sweets they actually wanted.

Plastic football from Wilko's plus a mini bag of Haribo

A wrapped book plus mini Haribo - books from a 10 for £10 lucky dip online. Got some fabulous age appropriate books.
