So currently have 2 jobs, really need to decide today as I'm scheduled for both!
Job 1 retail, they've just had a refit so everyone was off last week and I was offered a role elsewhere at job 2, I'd applied a while back but just so happened a role was available to start whilst I was off. Thought I'd give it a bash, it went well.
So both jobs ok
Job 1 retail, very variable hours and quite stressful at times multitasking, slightly better pay as more hours though again variable, often missing breaks and long shifts.
Job 2 warehouse work, physical but easy enough mentally and set hours and a decent break.
I love the set hours in job 2 but no way I can do that in job 1.
Job 2 is nearer and I've been there longer so have many friends, however there's a lot of moaning about the general way the place is ran, not quite sure if it's the same everywhere in retail tbh.
If I was younger I think I'd go for job 2 but slightly worried as I'm 45 that physical work may not be the best for my health (aside from losing a few pounds that is!)
Both jobs are on my feet all day and I've done that for years.
Oh help, think I just want to go back to bed and hide, should have sorted this way earlier!

Job 2.

I’m not seeing many plus points about Job 1 other than sometimes there’s the chance to do more hours.

Job 2

It's nearer, regular hours, you have friends there. It doesn't have to be for ever if the physicality gets too much

Job 2 The physical will keep yopu fit. You can change again in a few years if it gets too much.
