Spot on toddler leg for months - any advice?

Want to preface this by saying we have a GP appt booked, but was looking for advice (reassurance!) about this

My little one has had a spot / small rash on his thigh for around 4-5 months now, it hasn't really changed in that time - and he does have a bit of eczema. This spot doesn't seem the same as the other really mild bits of eczema he gets.

He's absolutely fine in himself, haven't noticed any other health issues apart from the usual coughs and runny noses, but even they aren't as bad as last years.

Any medical bods around that could give any advice?

My sons started like this grew in size , doctor said impetigo . Wish i never used the cream . Flared him up really bad . Now i dont know what to do he’s only 11 months old and it was on his face.

It might be a molluscum, my DD14 has had a couple over the years. It's like a lump of fat, bleeds a lot if caught but always seem to disappear after a while (6 months to a year in our experience). Just a thought...
