London experiences for an Xmas present

I'm looking for ideas of experiences for a relative's Christmas present. Previous gifts have been Up At The O2 and the helter-skelter at the Olympic Park, so something a bit unusual (not a lm afternoon tea voucher etc, which is all a bit dull). Ideas please! For a late 20s male. Budget up to £50. Thank you!

WIll watch this thread with interest!

We have done both of the things that you have mentioned and enjoyed them.

What about a cycle session at the Olympic velodrome? My DH and DS did it a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. All equipment is provided, and it was under £50 per person. If he likes cycling in any way then I think he would enjoy it. My DH is a keen cyclist, while DS is just an occasional cyclist, but both really enjoyed it.

Or, go-karting? There are a few places in London where you can do it. We went to Woolwich recently and did a session there.

Have a look at the Lee Valley White Water Centre. Not too far from London and plenty to do there. (White water rapids etc).

Or a Skunaboat/hot tub/kayak down the thames.

Chel-ski in Fulham is a dry ski/snowboarding place in Fulham, you could buy him a lesson.

Bentleys do an Oyster Shucking class for £65 which includes a load of oysters and a glass of champagne.
