What colour bridesmaid dress for this wedding dress?

I chose my wedding dress recently and I adore it. Unfortunately it has put paid to most of my ideas for bridesmaid dresses because of the blush pink colour - I was originally thinking dark green (and a sunflower bouquet (but now it seems like both may be out of the running.

Would love to hear any ideas about bridesmaid dress colours that wouldn’t clash? (Apologies if the answer should be obvious; I’m not great with colour coordination at the best of times!)

I came on to say the same as @Msgiggles30, lovely combination

TheSmallClangerWhistlesAgain · 17/11/2021 22:23

It's the texture on that dress that stands out rather than the colour. I think having the other dresses echoing some of that will have more of an effect than colour.

Although saying that, pale blue would go nicely, or gold-type shades.

I agree with @SadSongsAndWaltzes
& think the green of the dresses in the attached photo would look gorgeous.

Other alternatives are pale lavender/lilac or pale gold

Blush pink and lots of sage colours in your bridal flowers. Eucalyptus

Came on to say sage green tool. And pink peonies for your flowers. Gorgeous

ASimpleLobsterHat · 17/11/2021 22:39

It’s not helpful for your question, but that is a gorgeous dress. It’s so nice it actually makes me want to get married again so that I’d have an excuse to wear something like that Grin

Jumpingintochristmas · 17/11/2021 22:40

Sage green or blush pink with some of the lovely flowers already suggested.

Your dress is beautiful!

maddy68 · 17/11/2021 22:41

Beautiful dress 😍
I would go a deep shade of pink or grey personally

ISeeTheLight · 17/11/2021 22:41

Any jewel tone would go with that I think. Burgundy, raspberry pink, emerald, teal, deep blues etc. Also sage green or more of a eucalyptus-type colour.

ShagMeRiggins · 17/11/2021 22:43

Sage green as mentioned, but the odds of your bridesmaids all looking great in that colour are slim. You’d have a much better chance of flattering everyone (or at least not draining them) with a cool navy’s

And yes, the dress is wow. Good luck.

ShagMeRiggins · 17/11/2021 22:45

Didn’t mean to say cool navy. Just navy.

MrsIPFreely · 17/11/2021 22:45

That dress is beautiful. Personally I think sage green is too predictable and wishy washy. I think a really deep dark green would be lovely. What season are you getting married in?

Oh, that’s so pretty 😍 I’d go for a sage green, or a blush pink in the shade of the darker bits of the dress. In velvet, I think.

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 17/11/2021 22:56

That's a beautiful dress. I think safe green too!

flatclearancehelp · 17/11/2021 22:59

Cream bridesmaid dresses with blush pink sashes/flowers/shoes whatever etc to match your dress

MrsDeaconClaybourne · 17/11/2021 23:10

Not much idea about colours but other people's suggestion of sage green sounds lovely. Just wanted to say that your dress is gorgeous!

Laiste · 17/11/2021 23:15

To me your dress seems to conjure up images of gentle watercolours, bowls of lovely pastel overblown roses and Edwardian dresses with ribbons.

How many bridesmaids are you having? Could each one be in a different shade of soft pastel colour? Pale sage, buff pink, pearl grey, dusty lilac? Same dress in different colours or different dresses but similar to yours with a lace/gauze theme?

Viviennemary · 17/11/2021 23:17

Love the dress. I agree a deeper pink would look nice. Also a darker green.

DontBeCatty · 18/11/2021 00:53

What a stunning dress.
I'd go for blush pink or soft sage green.
Im not so sure about darker green if they are too strong.

CatonMat · 18/11/2021 00:56

I'm crsp at style type stuff, but that is a really lovely dress.
I reckon a dusky pink or sage ish green would be nice with it.
Perhaps the green, as its autumnal.

Hydrate · 18/11/2021 01:54

There are some pink dresses of various lengths on that site that would look really nice. Your dress colours would be nice for your flowers, and venue decor. I love your dress.

Mummyoflittledragon · 18/11/2021 02:16

I like the green a lot of people are posting as per pic 1 but note you’re not sure about it. But I also like the deep mocha colour with your dress. The green is oos in most sizes. This is the link to the mocha one.

This company has tons of colours. And styles so if your bridesmaids are differing shapes, you could get different styles in the same colour.

I do like your dress with lighter colours, eg blush, sage, dusty blue. But the danger is you could look like a bridesmaid unless you get it right and that’s only possible by having both dresses in the flesh.
