Ebay offers

I'm selling a few things on Ebay (using a week auction option) and I have got some offers almost straight away. Would you usually decline them because you'd expect the auction to run its course and give you the best price? Seems a bit like people are hoping to get a cheaper price or I guess maybe they really want it so hope to secure it with a higher price?! I have no idea what the things I'm listing are worth. I'm tempted to just let the full week run but wondered what other people typically do?

They’re usually trying to get a bargain
You can accept the offer but then you’re obliged to sell at that price
Or you decline and let the auction run it’s course
Depends on how much you want for your item and if you are in a rush to get rid of it

You can look up sold price on items by refining your search to give an idea of what you might get.
If it’s popular with lots of watchers let it run its course but sometimes you can get more with an offer as someone is keen to secure it.
