DH bought an Emma that was delivered yesterday, the premium one. It's a bit too firm so they are sending the additional topper (for free). I like it.

I bought an Emma a couple of weeks ago. I agree it's a little too firm. I had forgotten about the free topper so I'm going to get onto that ASAP. I actually prefer Simba

The Simba, hands down beats them both, imo.

Got an Emma one from wowcher. It's total rubbish. Been sleeping on it since Sunday and it's a glorified mattress topper. We can feel the slats and it definitely isn't 20cm thick. The corners turn up once a fitted sheet is on it. If you sit on it to put your socks on it compresses so much. It's just junk. Getting a different brand at the weekend.

Don’t know about Dormeo but our Airbnb over the summer had an Emma mattress on DDs bed. I did test it and it felt lumpy and uncomfortable not my thing at all. But I’m more an orthopaedic mattress type person. And I detest memory foam.

I have had a dormeo for a number of years, it was a Which Best Buy at the time and I can't fault it.

I love our Emma and just bought one for DD's bed. I think the Wowcher one is the Essential which is a cheaper one? We have the Original. My old mattress used to make me so sore in the morning. Mattresses are such a matter of personal taste though.

Also thought this was a baby name thread, for a moment. TBH, I hate these overpriced ‘cheap’ foam mattresses. I’d go for a good quality pocket sprung from someone like Hypnos, there are a few Black Friday sales around so you can probably get a decent discount.

Just bought another mattress to replace the week old Emma piece of junk!! It's amazing!! Firm and supportive and really comfy.
