Me again 🙈 Long story short my little one is being treated for silent reflux is on 10mg of omeprazole has been now for 2 weeks. Grunting stopped while sleeping but still spitting up and so uncomfortable while lying down. Last week I noticed a rash on his tummy, went to the doctors who said it could be an allergy but because we have only upped the dose on the omeprazole she didnt want to start changing milks etc to see if the dose would take affect. Fast forward a week later and the rash seemed alot worse so went to the GP again who said it didnt look like a milk allergy rash but gave me nutramigen to try anyway and said it would give me piece at mind. She didnt say what was causing it and just left me to it. I'm a first time mum and I'm worried sick, I'm not eating or sleeping because I just constantly worry about him. This is basically day 1 of being on the milk fully as we had to wean him off apitamil with it but we did see a massive change, he didnt seem uncomfortable thrashing about. But hes now waking every 1hr crying his dummy soothes him but he spits it back out and cries again. I've started to bring him in beside me because I'm really just exhausted and at my whits end :-(
Does this rash look serious? Do I need to go to A&E instead of my doctor? (Dont really want to go to A&E and waste their time) or what do you think the rash could be?
Ps I havent changed creams etc from he was born, hes bathed in water and we use aveeno stuff on him and little coco coconut moisturizer x
