Klacid antiobiotic pregnancy

Hi I have finished a seven day course of antibiotics(klacid) for an upper respiratory infection. I am 15 weeks pregnant. Another doctor recently told me that these should not have been prescribed as they are not safe in pregnancy. Anyone else taken these and baby was absolutely fine? Freaking out here

Hi OP, I found out late that I was pregnant and I had taken a course of antibiotics (different to yours) which are contraindicated in pregnancy). I told my midwife and she rang the pharmacist at the hospital who looked up the medication details and how dangerous it was. They took it very seriously and had protocols to follow so I'd advise you do the same. Good luck!
