Just wondering if anyone has stayed here and any reccos - seems good value?

its ok, rooms fairly sort of 'standard corporate', however the view from the roof bar is fantastic, the tower looks wonderful all lit up in the dark, also tower bridge. If you are after slightly better rooms try a suite at the apex on seething lane, no view but better appointed rooms.

Yes, stayed recently. All very nice, not really any character but room was fine, staff were nice, breakfast good. Need to book in advance if you want to drink at the roof bar, worth it for one but then go down to the lobby bar for drinks at half the price!

I stayed there for a couple of nights in July. It’s a perfectly nice corporate type hotel in a top location close to the Tower & Tower Bridge, with Tower Hill tube station 5 mins walk away. There’s a Tesco Express a little further on. I didn’t eat in the restaurant or use the roof bar, which seemed very popular. I would happily stay there again.

We stayed at Citizen M at Tower at the weekend. From just looking at photos of the two online, Citizen M is much nicer/more character than the Hilton. Similar prices too.
Citizen M does have a rooftop bar too, and prices aren’t hideous.

Better accommodation to be had at Blue Orchid Tower Suites, and a lot of the time you can get a studio or executive suite for the same price as a standard room at the Hilton and a view of Tower Bridge from it if you’re lucky. Roof bar is a expensive though and no better than the other rooftop bars in the area so I always drink elsewhere.
