Received duplicate parcels from Boots

I ordered a few Xmas gifts from boots. Today I have had two parcels from them delivered separately. They have sent me the order twice! I have checked my email and bank and have definitely only ordered and paid once. I have emailed them to let them know but just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if you had to send back? I don't live close to a post office so would be quite inconvenient to send back.

Give the other to a charity for homeless families

A young carers charity if age appropriate would be my vote

Yes I will absolutely donate if they let me keep it. Was just wondering if they would.

I've had this before, not Boots (can't remember who) and they just said keep it.

Probably depends on the value tbh.
Also might suggest you take it in to a Boots store rather than a post office. I’ve only had to return things through the PO when the company wanted it back and they were online only.
But see what they say. If it’s not convenient to you I would probably just donate it as well. Trying to get companies to handle returns when there’s no money to be sent back always seems to go wrong for me.

I’ve had this with Joules in two occasions. One for a bag and the other order was a large order of clothing, bags and footwear Dow myself and my daughter.

Both times I had a snotty response from women who said they don’t make mistakes.

I w also had Superdrug get the him on a few occasions when I’ve collected orders in store but they haven’t been checked off and Superdrug insist on refunding me, again refusing to accept they make mistakes!

Boots did this to me too and just said to keep it. I think I donated it.

Boots did this to me last year too, the order was for £150.00 ish full of christmas gifts and bits and Bobs. I received the first order as expected, then a month later the exact same order arrived. I contacted them and they said that I couldn't return them due to hygiene etc. We wrapped the duplicates up and took them to our local care home instead who seemed very grateful :)

I've just had this with Curry's. Ds wanted something for his computer value £100. They've sent me a box of 10 instead of 1. Deffo not been charged for them.
