Awful birth sitatution - help with wording a card. *tw*

She was expecting twins and one died - the other is in intensive care. And I'm not sure what to write in the card - I want to send something.

I want to acknowledge that they had two dcs but obviously I don't want to exacerbate a terrible situation.

That is unbelievably horrific for her and I understand why you're struggling. I wonder whether something like "I am thinking of you and your beautiful children at this time, don't hesitate to ask should you need anything" but I haven't been through this myself.

It's so hard because I want to celebrate their lovely baby but not ignore his brother.

Yes I think turns wording is probably what I'll go with. They live abroad so I can't be of any practical help sadly.

Turn has it. I just came on to say I think it's fantastic that you are still getting in touch. I suspect that there are a lot of people who don't know what to say so will choose to simply ignore both the birth of the one baby and the passing of the other. It will mean a LOT to your friend and her partner for you to acknowledge them.
