It's my first rest day today, was on nights last night. I slept well yesterday as I really wanted to stay up all day. DH was away for 12 days working COP26 and is doing both the school runs today so I DONT HAVE TO LEAVE THE HOUSE ALL DAY ! He's also buggered off out for 6 hours to give me some peace and quiet to potter.

I'm about to watch Magic Mike (Thankyou to the poster who drew my attention to Matthew mcconaughey stripping in it) while I ponce around with some autumn hanging baskets. I've got a baked Camembert for lunch and wine in the fridge

I'm on cloud 9 😂

Blimey op where do you live? Can I come around and join you? I’m on my own and that sounds a perfect day.

That is my dream. DH and I both work from home 90% of the time now. Never get a minute to myself anymore....

I'm feeling rough today so off sick, heading for a PCR later...
Not convinced it's Covid - I'm coughing but it's more throat clearing than chesty , no temp etc. Better to be safe than sorry though

I feel your pain @sofakingcool, I too have the not COVID cough and cold from hell, on day 8 now and my sinuses are so painful so phoned in sick and am laid up on the couch watching home alone.

I'm not feeling well (the Not Covid cough / cold / flu of doom that's going round), and have given in to my first sick day in over three years. Although I logged in this morning to sort a few things, and somehow it's nearly lunchtime! But now I am headed to the sofa with a hot drink. Ironically, this means it is also my first home alone day since DS was born, but not really in the place to appreciate it...

I've cleaned my house from top to bottom. Been doing it since 8:30 and have just sat down. Having a quick cuppa and a chocolate bar before I go get my toes and nails done. Have to take DD to gym at four which I hate and dread every week! Should probably take my laptop and get some work done for tomorrow.

2DC are on the last day of the 48 hour exclusion period for D&V, they are well now and very bored, so I’ve thrown some Christmas paper chains at them to make for their bedroom.

I’ve got the new season of Superstore on whilst I type up last weeks 7 lab sessions for my skills portfolio.

I fed the cat, had my own breakfast, then had a shower, washed my hair (what's bloody left of it - it comes out by the handful due to some medications), ironed my decent trousers, got dressed, did my make-up, watched "Frasier".

Then I took a couple of 'phone calls, wiped round the kitchen, put the washer on. I'm meeting my mate for a pub lunch, as it's her birthday.

I’m on a trip to the UK this week (live abroad), I was awake for 22 straight hours yesterday, so after sleeping 00:30-7am I feel so rested and happy this morning

Currently on a train down to London from the north, meeting a friend for lunch and then I’ll need to work for a few hours. Might meet another friend for dinner, then back to friend 1’s house at 10pm when she finishes work, to hopefully grab a shower and some more sleep.

Pret, Greggs and all these beautiful places we don’t have where I live are keeping me awake… gosh I’d missed the food!

Sat MNing on my lunch break at work. I finish at 4.30, then will help DS with homework when I get home.
