Can adults develop new birthmarks?

I was defuzzing and I have a round patch of darkened skin on my labia Hmm. No pain, no lump, not raised, it just looks exactly like a birthmark. Around the size of a 5 pence piece. I know it’s not a birthmark because it wasn’t there the last time I shaved it all off a few months ago

Can adults just get a new birthmark?

Your skin does change as you age, but it won't be a birthmark if it's not been there since birth. I'd get it checked out at the doctors just to be on the safe side.

Get it checked op. Something like that doesn't come up in a couple of months.

They’re not birthmarks obviously but some rare tumours can consist of the same cells as strawberry birthmarks.
