NC as outing
I'm a student, September cohort. I fell pregnant in December and attended uni and placements the remaining year pregnant.
I was told I wasn't allowed maternity leave, or to re-join the following cohort (intake would of been January, rather than September)
University also said "you can apply for the following September cohort, though you may not be accepted"
They gave me 2 weeks leave (I say leave, it was working from home) I had my baby late august and was back in uni early September
I've had a csection and struggled, with zero support from them.
Is this right, is it true that university's do not allow maternity leave for students? Or that they do not allow them to join the cohort after?
I'm having support for depression. I've not missed a day from uni and my health visitor voiced her concerns, she even said she had 6 months off when she was training. I didn't feel safe enough to leave and come back a year later as they said I may not be accepted and I quit a job I loved to do this course, I didn't want it all to be for nothing.
