Hi, me again! Anyone else an Independent Visitor for a child in care? I have just been approved and am feeling very excited. Didn’t even know it was a thing until recently ! X

Definitely. The young person I know who has an IV really enjoys spending time with them.

What kind of age are they? I’m hoping for a younger child, since I have more experience with young children and work at my local infant school :)

They're early teens. 🙂

No but I'm familiar with the scheme - it works really well in the LA I know - I hope it all goes well. I wish could do this but it's a long term commitment that I don't have capacity for at the moment.
