How do I get proof of vaccination without going by NHS login?

Is there a way? I don’t want to use the login as I don’t trust it!

I don’t want another bloody app on my phone!

You don’t trust it? An official NHS app?

Suggest you delete another app and download this one if you’re struggling for space on your phone.

Not a problem. Follow this link www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/covid-pass/get-your-covid-pass-letter/

Why don't you trust it? What do you think will happen?

ShowOfHands · 14/11/2021 23:18

I've never downloaded the app, just used the website.

Kite22 · 14/11/2021 23:24

I show my card, that gives the date of vaccines.

That's not always accepted. I'm going to Guernsey this week for work and they won't accept the card on it's own because it has no date of birth.

That's not accepted in the airport or in venues in countries where vaccination is needed to sit in a restaurant. I've recently been in France, Germany and Switzerland and a certificate with a QR code was needed for pretty much everything
MercyBooth · 15/11/2021 00:59

@Youngatheart00 Really? Didnt the NHS computer system get hacked a few years ago. Some people have short memories.

Goldentimes · 15/11/2021 01:09

Just ring 119 to request it. Simples

Tippexy · 15/11/2021 01:28

Are you seeing someone for your anxiety?

You can request a letter that shows both vaccinations from this website

Goldentimes · 16/11/2021 08:41

@Tippexy

Typical mn snarky comment right there folks
TakeYourFinalPosition · 16/11/2021 09:04

You can request a letter, as someone has said above. Give it a few days to arrive.

This seems to be an increasingly common response when people express anxiety about something. It's nasty and passive aggressive. Just stop doing it.

Well, tbf, OP hasn't said where she is going.

This was accepted 3 times for me in the last month (twice asked if I had other ID, to then prove it was my card - at which point I showed them my driving licence.)

fruitpastille · 16/11/2021 18:16

You can show evidence of a negative lateral flow test instead. If it's just for a one off thing that might be easier. I've got the app but forgot my bloody password and it was easier just to do a test as I do them for work anyway.

thecapitalsunited · 16/11/2021 18:19

Whether or not you have an NHS login your data will be stored in the same place so it’s in just as much danger as you think it would be if you downloaded the app.
