Another hoover one, sorry! Gtech? Shark?

Current Gtech is dead, it’s the old one and has been a very faithful servant. But I think I killed it with my long hair Confused

So the anti-hairwrap element of the shark appeals. But now there’s a version with “powerfins”

I was waiting for gtech to come up with something anti hair wrap, but it’s not looking likely.

Whatever I have, it’ll be cordless. Wires do my head in and I HATE Henry with a passion, smug little shit who gets stuck on his own wires.

I have a Gtech pro for the corners things you need attachments for.

Somebody tell me what I need Grin

You need a Shark anti hair wrap, I love mine! It’s so much better than the Dyson I had before which was just an expensive DustBuster (thank goodness I inherited it so it was free).

I love my Shark, it's a few years old now. All i know is it's something to do with pets and has headlamps.

LadyOfTheFlowers · 14/11/2021 20:36

We have a shark with anti hair wrap.

Hair still wraps but in defence of the thing there is a lot of artificial hair in our house which is essentially plastic and also DDs natural hair is about 4 feet long so, it's a lot.

It's picks up the dog hair well but not really other doggy related detritus like chewed up stuff or cuddly toy wadding - the Henry was best for all that stuff. I spend more time unblocking the thing that actually vacuuming.

Also the dust box is small.

I have a Shark anti hair and I bloody love it!

Donutsrock · 14/11/2021 21:13

Thanks folks Smile

I wish Henry was easier to use, he does a great job but he’s just such an arse about it. I can’t understand how someone without corners manages to get stuck on anything and everything!

I have a GTech Air Ram which is past its best so I’m awaiting delivery of the latest Shark cordless with the anti wrap and fins. I’ll try it for 60 days and send it back if it’s no good.

Chasingsquirrels · 14/11/2021 21:48

Robovac

That’s a good plan actually, I forgot you can do that

I’ve got a robovac as well (which I bloody love). But obviously it can’t do the stairs! Both of them have made cleaning so much quicker.

MrsHookey · 15/11/2021 19:00

Miele are brilliant. Far surpass the sharks and dysons etc.

Ilikewinter · 15/11/2021 19:21

Ive just ordered a shark anti hair wrap, it arrives tomorrow and im excited.....how sad 😂

Roselilly36 · 15/11/2021 19:24

I have the shark, cordless, anti hair wrap, pet version. Awesome, I was very skeptical re the anti hair wrap feature, as I have long hair and was fed up of cutting my hair off the brushbar of my gtech air ram. It really does work. Really pleased with mine.

My dyson cordless is dead and i wanted a new one....should I get a shark antihair wrap instead?

Piggyk2 · 15/11/2021 19:36

I have had 2 different models of Sharks. Love them. Although I wish they made a longer hose pipe!

ssd · 15/11/2021 20:30

How do they compare to dysons?
