Best way to create playlist of music I like

Help me out here I miss music most of mine is on CDs and I don’t have a CD player anymore. I’ve played one off tracks from you tube & Spotify but I don’t have any subscriptions just a few albums I’ve bought one off on iTunes. What’s the best way or best value option to listen to what I want to without Ads? I’m abit confused what to choose. I’ve got an iPhone. Thanks

Afaik all the music subscription services allow you to make playlists.

Download iTunes, stick all your CD's on your laptop or computer (time consuming but only do it once), create playlists from all those songs and then plug your iPhone into your laptop and move them onto there.

This is very old school and my dc laugh at me, but I don't want to pay £10 a month for a music subscription Smile

Thanks they just take up too much room I thought to move onto my phone, but like you I can’t see why I have to pay again for music I already have sitting on my shelf. I guess I’m gonna have to if I want to but I’m not sure which service gives best value or are they all the same?

I did the same as a pp, downloaded all my cds to the laptop using itunes, and then transferred to my iphone.

Spotify - if you “like” songs it will create a playlist of liked songs. Think you need a subscription but it’s worth it. I’m a total convert.

I have Amazon Prime and it's £15 pm for the free delivery, some great TV and Music Unlimited, which I think is pretty good value. The music app has lots of functionality including building multiple playlists. If you feel that's too much you can (as PP) said upload all your CDs to iTunes (free) and then access from your phone.

Ooh thanks my DH has Amazon prime maybe I’ll have a look at that option as well
