Why does every LFT I do show a positive result? Two negative PCRs. LFT still showing positive. Different batches too.

Dont think even the experts know.

Have you had negative lft before? If you have i would behave for 10 days after your first positive test as if you do have covid to reduce transmission.

I'm working from home just now anyway (because I had an op a couple of weeks ago) so not going anywhere. The first positive I had was weeks ago and I had a negative PCR and was told I'd had a false positive LFT. Now I'm wondering if I actually had a false negative PCR and the reason I'm still getting positive LFTs is because I actually did have it back then.

It seems like any old style throat/nose ones come back negative but the new nose only one positive. I've spoken to two different people on the NHS line who both say the same thing and that's that they go by the PCRs.
