Whilst I can’t bare the show
My daughter absolutely lives and breathes it

So…. I’m considering treating her as a Christmas present for tickets to see the strictly come dancing live show tour

Anyone seen it on your? Recommend?

Many thanks

I went to see it a few years ago at the O2, it was good fun. Our seats were quite far back, I think it would be a bit better to go closer if you can, or take binoculars with you! It's a fake competition, a bit scripted like a panto, with some characters you already know. The audience get really into it, I think you can buy score paddles etc. If your DD loves Strictly, she'll enjoy it.

Tickets go very fast though (especially the good ones). Might be better to push it to next year and make a diary note for when tickets come out.

I went a few years ago with my mum & we both loved it.

We looked at getting tickets for DD for Christmas too but the locations/dates weren't right, we definitely think they're worth it

I've taken my DDs a couple of times and it was a great day out. It's very hammy and I think you get to take part in the voting so someone gets the glitter ball at the end of the show.

I’ve taken my mum a few times, it’s good fun. A bit of a panto version of SCD. It’s always popular, and tickets sell quickly

We loved it although we did go to see one of the dancers on their tour and that was better.

We've been a few times and have enjoyed it. It's a bit pointless if your seats are far from the stage though as you're just watching the whole thing on a screen.

We go every year and I would echo what others have said about getting seats towards the front. We once ended up in the top tier of seats and they looked like ants on the dance floor.
Hope your DD enjoys it! 💃🕺

I've taken my young dds a few times (they are both ballroom and Latin dancers) and we bloody love it. I do agree it's v cheesy but when you are 8, that's what you want!

I look looked for the January but hardly any tickets left so we won't go this year. Before covid hit, we went Jan 2020 and got tickets right by the side where the judges are the dancers come out. We were so close but because it was at the side, the tickets were cheaper. I've got lots of pics of the dancers and celebs waving at my kids they aren't really but it looks like it
Have fun! The merchandise is expensive inside. Be warned!

Thanks What would be good seat areas?

Problem!

I need to book for my daughter, her older brother and younger brother and my step father! Long story!

And so the price is just too much

Thanks anyway

My DS and his wife bought me tickets for the Professionals Tour for Christmas 2019 . The show was for May 2020. It was then put back to early 2021 and has now been arranged for May 2022.

I may get to see it eventually Grin.
